We organize GraphQL Wroclaw Meetup once a quarter (every 3 months).
Before we set the date of the next event, we make sure that it does not collide with important holidays, days off, internal events or other circumstances that may negatively affect attendance.
For each event, we need about 3 speakers to give +/- 30-minute presentations.
We look for them primarily among the GraphQL community, contact them via twitter, Linkedin or e-mail.
When we manage to contact them, we send them a request in papercall (https://www.papercall.io) to complete info about the topic of the speech, its short description and their bio.
Optimally, they should do this up to 2 weeks before the event at the most, so that we can prepare materials for promotion.
We start the promotion approximately 1.5-1 month before the event.
We are publishing the event on Meetup because it is the main channel of communication with the local GraphQL community, but also on Facebook and LinkedIn to build awareness.
